A lawyer on the critical path
23rd of April 2010
We are delighted to inform, that “Kancelaria” the monthly issued by Wolters Kluwer Polska and The National Council of Legal Advisers’, have published an article edited by Magdalena Gromaszek, a lawyer in Nosowski, Konratowski and Partners, Law Office. An article is titled “A lawyer on the critical path” and it is on time management and time planning applying to lawyers’ work.
The author of the article emphasizes the fact, that nowadays lawyers participate in the completion of large projects, and their work is only a part of the entire investment. Therefore it is essential to plan before entering the project and to supervise the implementation of the particular tasks when the project is on-going. The aim of the above mentioned actions is to avoid the delay caused by the lawyer, which could result with stopping the rest of the entities involved from performing their duties, and eventually would disable the proper use of the resources and meeting the project’s deadline. The critical path is “the sequence of actions determining the completion time for the project as a whole”.
Magdalena Gomaszek presents her thesis in an interesting way, and convinces why it is worth to move with the times and step on the critical path.
